The Thermal Humidity Map Sensor comes fully equipped with 6 temperature and 2 humidity sensors for monitoring and protecting computer cabinets. This sensor provides users with an accurate image of their computer cabinet’s temperature and humidity levels, which helps control cooling and eliminate hotspots.
The AKCPro Server software creates a visual representation of the computer cabinet to help locate hotspots. Once hotspots are located, users can target where exactly in the cabinet, cooling is needed, thus eliminated the costs of cooling.
The sensor runs on very low power within any given server cabinet.
The auto detects the Thermal Map Sensor once the user connects the RJ-45 jack to the sensor using the UTP CAT5/6 cable. The thermal map sensors should be installed at the base, middle, and top in the front and rear of the cabinet.
